Day 1
WELCOME TO EASTERN EUROPE | WARSAW
UNIQ Culinary Tour starts with transfer to your hotel located in the heart of Warsaw, the capital city of Poland. In the evening time to meet your Tour Director and the rest of the group in the hotel lobby. Next enjoy a ride along historical Royal Route and a short walk through the Old Town and Castle Square.
Welcome dinner will be served at a traditional Polish restaurant where you will have an opportunity to indulge in Polish cuisine and try a delicious drink called ‘Apple Pie” that includes Bison Grass Vodka.

Day 2
ROYAL PRIDE & CHOPIN MUSIC | WARSAW
This morning, tour Warsaw’s striking Old Town awarded a listing on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. After lunch served at a local restaurant, we continue our tour around Warsaw.
UNIQ Culinary Tour would not be complete without indulging in sweet delight with rose filling, a typical Warsaw pastry called “paczek”. We invite you to the famous Warsaw cafeteria. In the evening venture on the musical journey through the world famous works of Polish composer Frederic Chopin with a glass of sparkling wine in hand.

Day 3
MIRACLES & MOUNTAINS | WARSAW – ZAKOPANE (VIA CZESTOCHOWA)

After breakfast, we leave for Zakopane, Poland's ultimate mountain resort where a fairytale atmosphere pervades with 'gingerbread' wooden cottages. On the way, visit the Jasna Gora Monastery with its miraculous icon. In the evening arrive in Zakopane beautifully situated at the foot of the 'Polish Alps'. The locals take pride in their own brand of the traditional Polish highlander culture. Dinner will be a highlight of the day

Day 4
REGIONAL CUISINE & ARCHITECTURE | ZAKOPANEIn the morning, during a sightseeing tour explore Zakopane famous for its wooden architecture that blends with the natural landscape. We will board a cable car and admire the breathtaking views of the Tatras from the top of Gubalowka Mountain. Here, you can also buy some souvenirs.
In the evening indulge in a Highlanders’ feast which features regional cuisine accompanied by folk entertainment.

Day 5
TRANQUILITY & NATURAL BEAUTY | ZAKOPANE – KRAKOW
After breakfast, time for a relaxing day at leisure so you can take a spectacular rafting trip on the Dunajec River at your own pace.This peaceful ride down the river is a perfect way to experience the tranquility and beauty of Pieniny National Park. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, departure for the medieval city of Krakow, the ancient royal capital, rivalling the elegance of cities like Prague and Vienna.

Day 6
MONARCHS & CULINARY DELIGHT | KRAKOW
Today visit Wawel, the spiritual home of the nation, home to three dynasties of Poland’s monarchs. You will also visit the place where Polish kings were crowned and buried. After a short break for a coffee and cake at the famous cafeteria, explore the Old Town with its restored Main Square and the Cloth Hall with many shopping stalls. The afternoon is at leisure. Dinner will be served at one of the best restaurants located in the Old Town.

Day 7
KNIGHT FIGHTS & HORSE DRAWN RIDE | KRAKOW
After breakfast, day at leisure so you can buy a few souvenirs, soak in the ambience of the City, and people watch while having a glass of wine at the Main Square.
In the afternoon time for adventure like no other. Encounter Polish history and culture in a traditional way, away from the City buzz. We will travel to the Virgin Forest, a quick ride from Krakow where we will get to experience royal atmosphere, enjoy horse-drawn carriage ride through the Forest and learn many local legends and tales. Afterwards we will savour the best dishes of Polish cuisine in the light of bonfire.

Day 8
SALT CHAMBERS & FOLK ART | KRAKOW–WARSAW (WIELICZKA & LOWICZ)
This morning see the underground world of the oldest salt mine in Europe, Wieliczka. You are sure to be fascinated by the fabulous Chapel with its beautiful chandeliers, a masterpiece of salt work art. In the afternoon we will stop in Lowicz, a typical Mazovian town famous for its folk art and colourful costumes. For dinner you are invited to a charming cottage of the local family for a home-hosted meal. Dessert will be served in a beautiful garden before we continue on to Warsaw.

Day 9
SHOPPING & PIEROGI COOKING CLASS | WARSAW
After a busy week, today is at leisure so you can relax and get ready for some afternoon action . In the evening step into one of Warsaw’s restaurants for a private cooking class in making pierogi. Put your apron on and create memories that will last a lifetime. To keep your energy levels up during pierogi making workshop, some refreshments are provided.
Throughout the evening you will be entertained with all the stories and anecdotes that we know. The workshop will end with a great pierogi feast!

Day 10
HUNGARIAN FOLK & CULINARY FEAST | WARSAW – BUDAPEST
After breakfast we will depart for Budapest.A lot of people say Budapest is most beautiful at night and today you will have an opportunity to see it for yourself on this two hour tour.
Afterwards we will take you to a charming restaurant where you will be served a traditional Hungarian dinner and see an enjoyable Folklore show. Today you are sure to get a broad view of the music, dance and costume heritage of Hungary and its cuisine.

Day 11
FOOD CULTURE & LOCALS | BUDAPEST
After breakfast join us for a cultural and culinary tour through Budapest’s most delicious neighbourhoods. This walking tour begins at one of Europe’s largest and most spectacular indoor market halls. We will discuss the history of the building and the culture of eating in Hungary.Depending on what happens on the day we could visit a kosher bakery, learn about the art of Hungarian soup, enjoy a charming ambience of a retro-style bar or visit a famous butcher shop. We will end our tour by tasting three quintessential Hungarian wines. You’ll not be hungry after this tour!
Afternoon at leisure. We encourage you to ease your soul and joints in one of the world famous Budapest’s Bath Houses, where natural springs are abundant in minerals and trace elements which are great for the skin.

Day 12
AUTHENTIC HUNGARIAN LIFE & WINE | BUDAPEST & COUNTRYSIDE
From the very morning expect plenty of beautiful scenery, delicious local food, good company and great wine. Today's touring is the most authentic introduction to Hungarian life outside of Budapest. You will get to discuss the winemaking process, the history, and the wines at three wineries (tasting of 5-8 wines per winery). All wineries you visit are carefully chosen and are among the best in the country and you’ll get a full picture of the state of Hungarian wine.
During lunchtime enjoy a beautiful home-cooked meal at one of the wineries. The final tasting will be accompanied by a selection of artisanal cheese or cured meats. By the day’s end, you should feel like an expert. Now, back to Budapest.

CULINARY SECRETS & COOKING CLASS | BUDAPEST
After morning at leisure head to the cooking studio to put all you learnt about Hungarian cuisine into practice. This hands-on cooking class gives you opportunity to cook side-by-side with professional chefs. They will share some culinary secrets so you can impress your family and friends with your new Hungarian culinary skills when you get back home.
